In loving memory of the lives whose stories shaped this journey.
To those no longer with us, yet forever present in the truth of this story. May their memory live on through the pages of ZEAL and in the hearts they touched.
In Loving Memory of Fiorenzo D’Elia
Fiorenzo D’elia (Enzo Renna) was never Fernando’s (Christian) uncle by blood, but by something far stronger—by loyalty, by example, and by the quiet dignity of a man who chose to stand straight in a crooked world. Married to Elena Renna (Beatriz), the woman who helped raise Christian with discipline and love, Fiorenzo became a steady pillar in the boy’s life, teaching him that hard work was not a burden but a compass, a way to walk the straight line when everything around you threatened to bend it. His countless stories added to his legacy, but his presence shaped Christian’s character more than either of them ever spoke aloud. When Fiorenzo passed on January 4, 2025, after fighting dementia for many years. Christian vowed that Zeal would be a dedication in his memory, one of the last who led not with speeches or noise, but with example. And in every battle Christian faces afterward, every choice between darkness and light, he will carry Fiorenzo’s quiet strength with him like a second heartbeat.
We remember those who have passed from this world but not from our story.
